Die Oranienstadt Dillenburg in Kinderhand am 14.06.2025
Am Samstag den 14.06.2025 ist es endlich wieder soweit: “Kindertag und Entenrennen“ in der Oranienstadt Dillenburg laden zum Mitmachen, Ausprobieren und Spaß haben ein!
Von 10.00 Uhr bis 16.00 Uhr verwandeln Barbara Thomas und Susanne Weiser von der AG Dillenburger Kaufleute im Förderkreis Dillenburg die ganze Dillenburger Innenstadt in einen Abenteuerspielplatz.
Die Kinder können sich an der Rollenrutsche, dem Fahrzeug-Parcours des katholischen Kindergartens oder auf der Bobby-Car-, Tretunimogs- und Kart-Bahn des THW im Bereich Marktstraße/Wickbrücke austoben. Ruhiger geht es beim Herstellen von Parfum sowie beim Platzieren von Farbsträhnchen zu. Der Förderverein des Wildparks Donsbach und die Vogelschutzgruppe Niederscheld stellen sich vor und haben Einiges für die Kinder vorbereitet! Profis schminken kleine Löwen, Feen und Piraten oder färben bunte Strähnen ins Haar. Zudem wird es eine Torwand, eine Fotobox und eine Malstation für T-Shirts geben. Das DRK Dillenburg stellt Erste Hilfe für Kinder auf dem Hüttenplatz vor.
Auf der Showbühne singt der Kinderchor „Sonnenstrahlen für Jesus“ und Zauberer Michael zeigt faszinierende Tricks. Die blauen Funken CVO Oberscheld sowie weitere darstellenden Beiträge begeistern mit ihren Aufführungen. Die Jugendfeuerwehr Dillenburg zeigt Fahrzeuge und lädt zum Basteln und Feuerlöschaktionen ein.
Um 13.30 Uhr werden die Enten des Round-Table 57 Dillenburg für das Entenrennen an der Obertorbrücke ins Wasser gelassen. Um 14.30 Uhr erfolgt die Bekanntgabe der Gewinner des Entenrennens auf der Bühne in der Marktstraße. Wettscheine für das Entenrennen können in den Vorverkaufsstellen und während des Kindertages vor Ort gekauft werden. In der gesamten Innenstadt gibt es wieder einen Flohmarkt ohne Standgebühr von Kindern für Kinder. Für Essen und Trinken ist bestens gesorgt!
Die Organisatorinnen der AG Dillenburger Kaufleute freuen sich, dass sich auch dieses Jahr wieder so viele Menschen für Kinder engagieren: Kaufleute, Vereine, Kindergärten, Serviceclubs und viele mehr haben ein tolles, abwechslungsreiches Programm auf die Beine gestellt.

The Orange City of Dillenburg in Children's Hands on June 14, 2025
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, it’s finally here again: “Children's Day and Duck Race” in the Orange City of Dillenburg invites everyone to participate, try out, and have fun!
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Barbara Thomas and Susanne Weiser from the Dillenburg Merchants Association in the Dillenburg Support Group will transform the entire city center of Dillenburg into an adventure playground.
Children can have fun on the rolling slide, the vehicle course of the Catholic kindergarten, or on the Bobby-Car, go-kart, and pedal vehicle track of the THW in the area of Marktstraße/Wickbrücke. It's more relaxed when making perfume or placing colored streaks in their hair. The Friends of the Wild Park Donsbach and the Bird Protection Group Niederscheld will introduce themselves and have prepared a lot for the children! Professionals will paint little lions, fairies, and pirates or color bright streaks in their hair. Additionally, there will be a shot goal, a photo booth, and a T-shirt painting station. The DRK Dillenburg will present first aid for children at the hut area.
On the show stage, the children's choir "Sonnenstrahlen für Jesus" will sing, and magician Michael will perform fascinating tricks. The Blue Sparks CVO Oberscheld and other performing contributions will delight with their performances. The Youth Fire Brigade Dillenburg will showcase vehicles and invite children to craft and fire-extinguishing activities.
At 1:30 PM, the ducks of Round-Table 57 Dillenburg will be released into the water for the duck race at the Obertorbrücke. At 2:30 PM, the winners of the duck race will be announced on stage in Marktstraße. Betting slips for the duck race can be purchased at the advance sale points and on site during Children's Day. Throughout the entire city center, there will again be a flea market with no stand fee run by children for children. There will be plenty of food and drinks available!
