There is a need for discussion on questions – about skin diseases, respiratory illnesses such as asthma, eczema (atopic dermatitis), and frequent bronchitis, which are often attributed to INTOLERANCES and ALLERGIES.
Climate change and environmental influences, such as microplastics related to consumer goods, are discussed in context.
These are facts that increasingly burden children and take away quality of life from the whole family – for when a child is sick, chronically ill, the entire family is affected, which can impact school, leisure, and even the employment of parents.
With the theme “Plastic – a risk to humans and the environment,” AAK will launch a comprehensive information series on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM in 35745 Herborn, in the auditorium of the Hohen Schule, Schulhofstraße 3 – 5.
Background on the topic and what everyone can contribute will be shared at the “Allergy Expert Talk” from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Groups, associations, developers, artists who advocate for a socially responsible approach to the environment and health will accompany the day. For example, UETB, BUND, the consumer advice center in Frankfurt, and the electronic pollen monitors will be present with an information booth in self-organization and actively participate in table discussions on pollen flight measurements, compensation for disadvantages, and the backgrounds of ecological construction and living. Activities for children will also take place in the afternoon.
Professor Dr. Schweisfurth will, as an Honorary Ethical Advisor for the research project "Plastics Fate and Effects in the Human Body," Horizon 2020 of the European Union, No. 965367, publicly address the topic for the first time as a long-standing scientific advisory board member of AAK.

Gesprächsbedarf besteht zu Fragen – um die Krankheiten der Haut, der Atemwege, wie Asthma, Ekzem (Neurodermitis) häufige Bronchitis, die oft auf UNVERTRÄGLICHKEITEN und ALLERGIEN zurückzuführen sind.
Klimawandel, Umwelteinflüsse, wie Mikroplastik im Zusammenhang mit Konsumgütern werden im Zusammenhang diskutiert.
Fakten, die immer häufiger Kinder belastet und der gesamten Familie Lebensqualität nimmt – denn ist ein Kind krank, chronisch krank, ist die gesamte Familie in Mitleidenschaft gezogen und kann sich in Schule, Freizeit, bis hin zur Berufstätigkeit der Eltern auswirken.

Gruppen, Verbände, Entwickler, Künstler*innen, die sich für einen sozialverträglichen Umgang für Umwelt, Gesundheit einsetzen, begleiten den Tag. z.
