Der Naturpark Nassau ist ein nationales Schutzgebiet und eine von neun "Nationalen Naturlandschaften im Bundesland Rheinland-Pfalz" im Herzen von Europa. Gemeinsam mit weiteren Schutzgebieten der Bundesrepublik, ob Nationalpark, Naturpark, Biosphärenreservat oder Wildnisgebiet – stehen wir alle für den Schutz der biologischen Vielfalt, natürlichen Klimaschutz und die Erhaltung unserer Lebensgrundlagen. Wir forschen, informieren und begeistern. Unser Ziel: Menschen für die Schönheit und den Wert der Natur sensibilisieren und ihnen Zuversicht für eine nachhaltige Zukunft geben. Als Zweckverband der beiden Landkreise Rhein-Lahn und Westerwald ist der Naturpark eine rein gemeinnützige Institution und unterstützt Maßnahmen in den Bereichen Landespflege, Naturschutz und naturverträglicher Tourismus. The Nature Park Nassau is a national protected area and one of nine "National Natural Landscapes in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate" in the heart of Europe. Together with other protected areas in the Federal Republic, whether national park, nature park, biosphere reserve or wilderness area – we all stand for the protection of biological diversity, natural climate protection, and the preservation of our livelihoods. We research, inform, and inspire. Our goal: to sensitize people to the beauty and value of nature and give them confidence for a sustainable future. As a purpose association of the two districts Rhein-Lahn and Westerwald, the Nature Park is a purely non-profit institution and supports measures in the areas of land management, nature conservation and nature-friendly tourism.
