Der Leiter des Ensembles, Ralf Steltner, gebürtiger Sachse und Wahlhamburger, ist ein vielseitiger Musiker, Dirigent und Komponist. Er leitet u. a. das Polizeiorchester Hamburg, wirkt bei der Klassik Philharmonie Hamburg mit und arbeitete für den NDR und verschiedene Orchester. Bereits 1991 gehörte er zum Ensemble des Musicals Cats in Hamburg. Er arrangierte Musik für Künstler wie Vicky Leandros, Bill Ramsey und Harald Juhnke und ist seit 2009 prägend im Hamburger Engelsaal tätig.

The head of the ensemble, Ralf Steltner, a native of Saxony and a resident of Hamburg, is a versatile musician, conductor, and composer. He leads, among others, the Hamburg Police Orchestra, participates in the Classical Philharmonic Hamburg, and has worked for the NDR and various orchestras. He was part of the ensemble of the musical Cats in Hamburg back in 1991.
