Diese 33 km lange Radrundtour führt im Werratal von Schloss zu Schlösschen in den Städten Eschwege und Wanfried sowie der Meinharder Ortsteile Schwebda, Grebendorf und Jestädt. Die familienfreundliche Rundtour auf beiden Flussufern der Werra kommt nahezu ohne Steigungen aus. Sie ist daher für Familien besonders geeignet und erfordert kein E-Bike. Viele der früher als Schlösser bezeichneten Gebäude sind herrschaftliche Wohnsitze, meist in Fachwerkarchitektur. Bis auf kürzere Abschnitte auf wenig befahrenen Landstraßen verläuft der Radweg auf Rad- und Wirtschaftswegen ohne Autoverkehr. Erforderlich ist das Tragen eines Radhelms.
This 33 km long cycling round tour leads through the Werratal from castle to small castle in the towns of Eschwege and Wanfried as well as the Meinhard districts of Schwebda, Grebendorf, and Jestädt. The family-friendly circular route on both banks of the Werra is almost without inclines. It is therefore particularly suitable for families and does not require an e-bike. Many of the buildings formerly referred to as castles are stately residences, mostly in half-timbered architecture. Except for shorter sections on less-traveled country roads, the cycle path runs on cycle and farm paths without motor vehicle traffic. Wearing a bicycle helmet is required.
