Wollmar is worth a stop on the circular route of the Otto Ubbelohde cycle path. The village community loves and preserves its historic buildings - without turning the village into a museum. For example, the two historic bakehouses were not demolished in the 1970s, as in so many other places. A baking community still bakes in the small bakehouse today.

Wollmar ist eine Rast auf dem Rundkurs des Otto-Ubbelohde-Radwegs wert. Die Dorfgemeinschaft liebt und erhält ihre historischen Bauten – ohne ein Museum aus dem Ort zu machen. So wurden die beiden historischen Backhäuser in den 70ger Jahren nicht abgerissen, wie in so vielen anderen Orten. Bis heute wird durch eine Backgemeinschaft hier im kleinen Backhaus gebacken.
