Holiday at the Dietzhölztal Forestry House
Are you yearning for a few wonderful holiday days in the midst of nature? Then our holiday house Dietzhölze is the right choice for you.
The former forestry house is located in a quiet area, framed by forests. In the immediate vicinity of the house is the private pond.
Spend your vacation in the idyllic Dietzhölze forestry house, which we renovated for you in 2021.

Note for reservations during school holidays in Hesse 2026:
* Reservations from March 30, 2026, to April 12, 2026, are only bookable on a weekly basis
* Reservations from June 29, 2026, to August 9, 2026, are only bookable on a weekly basis
* Reservations from October 5, 2026, to October 18, 2026, are only bookable on a weekly basis
During the period from July 7, 2026 - August 15, 2026 and from October 6, 2025 - October 18, 2025 rentals are only possible on a weekly basis.
Currently, there are special conditions for guests renting the Dietzhölze forestry house!

Currently, we cannot offer fishing packages, as several cormorants at the pond threaten the fish population!

Facilities
On 165 m² of living space, you can expect five rooms, including three bedrooms with a total of six beds, two bathrooms, and a separate WC. In addition to the oil central heating, a tiled stove provides cozy warmth. The private garden with a lawn, the courtyard, and the covered terrace with garden chairs are at your disposal, as is the parking space. A grill is also available to you. Our forestry house in country house style is unfortunately not barrier-free. There is no internet available.
Activities
The location of the forestry house in the Rothaar Mountains invites you to hike and bike in the summer, and to cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in the winter. As a hunter or angler, you can book attractive hunting and fishing opportunities directly with us. The state stud Dillenburg, the bird park Herborn, the wildlife park Dillenburg, as well as various historical old towns, castles, and museums are easily accessible from here.

Das ehemalige Forsthaus liegt in ruhiger Lage, eingerahmt von Wäldern. In unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauses befindet sich der hauseigene Weiher.

Ausstattung
Auf 165 m² Wohnfläche erwarten Sie fünf Zimmer, davon drei Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt sechs Betten, zwei Bäder und ein separates WC. Für wohlige Wärme sorgt zusätzlich zur Ölzentralheizung ein Kachelofen. Der hauseigenen Garten mit Liegewiese, der Hof und die überdachte Terrasse mit Gartenstühlen stehen Ihnen ebenso zur Verfügung wie der PKW-Stellplatz. Ein Grill steht Ihnen auch zur Verfügung. Unser Forsthaus im Landhausstil ist leider nicht barrierefrei. Es steht Ihnen kein Internet zur Verfügung.
Aktivitäten
Die Lage des Forsthauses im Rothaargebirge lädt im Sommer zum Wandern und Radfahren, im Winter zu Langlauf und Alpinski ein. Als Jäger oder Angler können Sie bei uns direkt attraktive Jagd- und Angelgelegenheiten buchen. Das Landgestüt Dillenburg, der Vogelpark Herborn, der Wildpark Dillenburg sowie verschiedene historische Altstädte, Burgen, Schlösser und Museen sind von hier aus gut zu erreichen.
