Geologie- und Naturerleben bestimmen den Charakter der Tour, die an schroffen Felswänden, Magerrasen und historischen Beweidungsflächen vorbeiführt. WEGBESCHREIBUNG: Um die Amöneburg verläuft die ehemalige Stadtbefestigung, deren alte imposante Mauer größtenteils noch erhalten ist. Die Wanderung führt durch ein Ziegengehege und zeigt von „oben“ einen herrlichen Rundumblick. Der Weg führt vorbei an Wölbwiesen, wo die seltene Bekassine ihre Nahrung sucht. Auch Zeugen der Amöneburger Geschichte finden sich am Wegesrand: Z.B. das Kultur- und Industriedenkmal „Brücker Mühle“, das Wallfahrtsziel Lindaukapelle und die mittelalterliche Altstadt mit ihrer Schlossruine. AUSRÜSTUNG: Zu jeder Wanderung zählt neben festem Schuhwerk auch eine Mülltüte, um den mitgebrachten Müll wieder mit nach Hause zu nehmen.
