Klaviermusik aus Lateinamerika - 20 Jahre Semana Latina - Matinee-Klavierkonzert Die Klaviermusik Lateinamerikas ist so vielfältig wie der Kontinent selbst: voller Vitalität, mitreißender Rhythmen und Lebensfreude. Ausgangspunkt des Konzerts ist die Klavier-Suite Southway von J. Kleeb, in der musikalische Themen und Klangwelten der indigenen sowie afro-südamerikanischen Kultur aufgegriffen und kunstvoll verarbeitet werden. Das Programm wird durch Werke aus Brasilien, Venezuela und Argentinien ergänzt und eröffnet einen facettenreichen Einblick in die reiche Klavierliteratur Lateinamerikas. Seit dem 20. Jahrhundert entwickelte sich die klassische und folkloristische Klaviermusik Südamerikas zu einem wichtigen Ausdruck der eigenen kulturellen Identität. Aus der Begegnung europäischer, indigener und afrikanischer Einflüsse entstanden unverwechselbare musikalische Formen wie Samba, Baião, Tango, Calypso, Joropo und viele weitere Tänze und Stilrichtungen.
