Einen ganz besonderen Blick auf die Frankfurter Skyline eröffnet dieses Kunstwerk auf einer Anhöhe nördlich von Dreieichenhain. 456 Holzpflöcke gruppieren sich hier so zur Pyramide, dass in ihrer Mitte eine Nord-Süd-Sichtachse auf den Messeturm, die Hochhäuser ringsum und den dahinter liegenden Taunus entsteht. Dabei ist aber auch die Pyramide selbst ein spannendes Fotomotiv. Je nach Winkel wirkt das Ensemble mal wie eine geschlossene Wand, mal wie ein lichte, durchlässige Komposition. Auch abseits der Mittelachse kannst du zwischen den Pfählen hindurchlaufen, die äußersten sind nur 60 Zentimeter hoch, die größten im Zentrum bringen es auf bis zu sechs Meter Höhe. Die Stangenpyramide gehört zu den wichtigsten Landschaftskunstwerken im Regionalpark RheinMain; wer in der Nähe einkehren möchte, findet nur eine Viertelstunde zu Fuß entfernt das Gut Neuhof mit Biergarten, Restaurant und Backstube.

This work of art on a hill north of Dreieichenhain offers a very special view of the Frankfurt skyline. Here, 456 wooden stakes are grouped together to form a pyramid, creating a north-south visual axis in the middle of the pyramid with a view of the Messeturm, the surrounding high-rise buildings and the Taunus mountains behind it. The pyramid itself is also an exciting photo motif. Depending on the angle, the ensemble sometimes looks like a closed wall, sometimes like a light, permeable composition. You can also walk between the poles away from the central axis; the outermost ones are only 60 centimetres high, while the largest ones in the center are up to six metres high. The pole pyramid is one of the most important works of landscape art in the Rhine-Main Regional Park; if you want to stop for a bite to eat nearby, Gut Neuhof with its beer garden, restaurant and bakery is just a quarter of an hour's walk away.
